If You Have Cellulite, You’re In Good Company
Cellulite is reality for most women. Some see it as a problem and some could care less. Most likely if you’re reading this article, you fall into the group that sees it as a problem.
Many theories and ideas exist about how to get rid of cellulite once you have it. Some sources claim it is merely a problem of excess fat and that proper diet and exercise will eliminate it. Thinner women with this problem may not agree with that thought.
Others believe this cottage cheese appearance is simply a skin condition resulting from the build up of toxins due to poor circulation and other issues. If that idea were completely true, it seems like it would be possible to maintain a heavy weight and not develop cellulite, assuming all skin issues were properly addressed.

Most likely the true answer falls somewhere in the middle. There is no doubt in my mind that both diet an exercise play a large role in both preventing cellulite and reducing it once you already have it. In fact, many thin women could experience significant cellulite reduction simply by building some muscle in the affected areas.
Enough cannot be said for proper water consumption and its role in the fight against excess fat accumulation, skin conditions and health issues in general. Water works to flush toxins out of the body which has long been blamed for cellulite formation. There are many reasons to drink up!
Finally, I believe genetics do play a role and the best you can do is to minimize the impact cellulite has on your figure. When you’ve tried everything else in the area of diet and fitness, sometimes a good cellulite cream can make all the difference. These anti-cellulite lotions, gels and creams come in a variety of brands and strengths and the majority of them do what they say provided the instructions are followed.
In the end, it’s important to do what you can to prevent or reduce cellulite without letting your life revolve around it. There are other important things that need your attention.
