So You’re Having Some Skin Problems – Could Stress Be To Blame?

You know, stress can cause a lot of problems in our lives. Recent research has revealed that many health problems are linked to stress as an underlying cause. Believe it or not, the health of your skin is also impacted by stress levels and how you react to them.

Many times stressful feelings are temporary and that is quite normal. However, when those overwhelming feelings become constant, that’s when the issues start to arise. Persistent stress leads to a state of chronic inflammation in the body which can cause all sorts of problems… including clogged pores. Acne is a common indicator of stress as are premature wrinkles and overly dry skin.

If you experience chronic stress or anxiety, check with your doctor for some steps you can take to reduce those feelings.
